Plan now to be a part of the March PMICMS dinner meeting.
The next PMICMS meeting will be on April 15th. Make plans now to attend.
This month Amanda Box will present "Madonna Versus Bruce Springsteen - Negotiating Fast Paced Business Changes with Effective Communication". Imagine a conversation between Madonna and Bruce Springsteen. Would Bruce tell Madonna that she lacks focus and that she can't be trusted? Would Madonna tell Bruce that he is boring and out of touch? No way! Madonna and Bruce have found ways to negotiate changes in this fast paced world while still experiencing high levels of business success and maintaining unique creative identities.
But where does that leave the rest of us? How can we keep up with the staggering changes in the business world while maintaining quality relationships with our colleagues and team members? Effective communication through change is crucial. In the Madonna vs. Bruce communication training, Amanda Box takes participants through a highly interactive program to do just that.
The success of your communication determines your success in every other aspect of your life. That philosophy is the foundation for Amanda Box while teaching and facilitating the fundamentals of communication. Her 20+ year career has been spent in a dual role of teaching on the college level and consulting with business and industry.
Amanda Box taught full time on the university level for 10 years and continues to serve as adjunct faculty while consulting with business and industry. Box rounded out her professional skills while serving as the communication coordinator for four years for Mississippi Forestry Association, where she was responsible for all internal and external communication including several publications, the web site, and media campaigns.
Box earned her undergraduate degree in communication from Freed-Hardeman University in 1991 and a master's degree in communication from Mississippi College in 1993.
