Debbie is an Administrative Underwriter at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance and has been a member of Toastmasters International for seven years. Debbie has earned the Distinguished Toastmaster award, the highest achievement bestowed by Toastmasters International, which recognizes extraordinary communication and leadership skills. Debbie has served in numerous club and district officer roles and, as the recently elected District 43 Division E Governor, is responsible for all Toastmasters clubs in Central and North Mississippi. Debbie’s expertise and mastery of the Toastmaster educational program keeps her in constant demand as a mentor and coach.

Certification Updates for 2013

An updated exam will be released on 31 August 2013 for Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)^® and Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)^® credential examinations.

In order to prepare for the transition to the new examination, PMI recommends that you utilize the following documents:

PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline which contains the blueprint for the updated PMI-RMP examination.
PMI-RMP Update Frequently Asked Questions about the PMI-RMP^® RDS and examination update.

PMBOK 5th Edition is now available.

PMI PMP, CAPM, RMP, SP and PgMP Exams are changing in 2013.

The PMBOK Guide 5th Edition and various Certification Standards are now updated and available. One important note for our members who are planning to take the PMP exam in the near future; the current test using PMBOK 4th Edition will only be available until July 31, 2013.

PMICMS is offering PMP / CAPM Preparation Boot Camp classes during March on the 4th edition so members can prepare and test before July 31st.

Self Reporting PDU's

Our Education Team regularly receives questions on how to report PDU's.

For PDU's resulting from PMICMS events like monthly meetings, PDD's etc. the VP of Education will batch submit these for you and you will receive an email from PMI stating that your claim has been submitted and then an email notifying you that your PDU claim has been granted.

For other PDU's you can self report them by going to http://www.pmi.org/Certification/Maintain-Your-Credential.aspx
