Speaker Bio Information:  

With over 35 years of experience leading projects both nationally and internationally for giants like General Electric, Siemens, IBM, Qwest, FIS, and currently working at SSP Innovations as a PMO manager. James McCoy is currently the president of the Mile Hi chapter serving a second term. A dedicated member of the PMI Mile Hi chapter and PMP certified since 2001, he pioneered the chapter's mentoring program, guiding many members to excellence. 

 

Under his stewardship, and alongside a dedicated board, our chapter has emerged stronger from the pandemic, witnessing unprecedented growth in membership and the introduction of new programs, many of which he attends personally. His efforts have not gone unnoticed, with PMI Global recommending our chapter as a model of excellence. James has become a sought-after voice on thought leadership podcasts, discussing project management, PMOs, and leadership, and has shared his expertise through articles on LinkedIn and featured in Business Insider. His influence has been recognized with a nomination for the 2024 APEX emerging leader of the year award and a recent feature in CEO Weekly. 

 

About  the  Webinar

As we all grow into our roles and  become  Project Managers, we can also learn from and guide others to in  the principles  and values of  Project Management. This  webinar  will provide insight into starting  a mentorship program and running it effectively.
